Labrinth is gearing up to release his third single 'Last Time' and kindly sat down for a chat with TaleTela to talk about all things music, Simon Cowell, working with Nicki Minaj and Beyonce and who he will be wining and dining on Valentine's Day.

Signed to Syco, the 22-year-old revealed that boss Simon Cowell is not as mean as he appears, saying: "I've met him as many times as I've asked that question. He's a nice guy man, he's cool. I'm gonna go and see him this week and we're gonna have a chat about the album and about what we're planning to do this year."

Last year, Lab said he wasn't happy that he didn't receive enough recognition for producing Tinie Tempah's 'Pass Out,' but it seems he has had a change of heart. 

"If Tinie mentioned every producer on his album I'm sure it would have been the producer's album instead of his album. I got enough recognition, I got the PRS track, it looked very good so I'm happy man," he told us.

Labrinth's new single 'Last Time' is out on March 11, while his debut album Electronic Earth drops on March 19.
