Oprah Winfrey has topped Forbes' list of the highest paid women in entertainment in the year 2010-2011, with an incredible $290million.

The bulk of Oprah's earnings came from her long-running chat show The Oprah Winfrey Show, however it came to an end in May this year. The 57-year-old has now started her own TV network OWN, but with the ratings decreasing rapidly, this could be the last time Oprah tops the list. 

Oprah's net worth is reported to be approximately $2.9billion.

Also making the list are Beyonce with $35million and Lady Gaga in second place with $90million.

Last month it was revealed that Tyler Perry was the highest paid man in entertainment with an estimated $130million.
