Will.i.am has denied that the Black Eyed Peas are splitting up, despite intense speculation claiming they are no longer together.

Rumours began circulating after the Peas cancelled their scheduled appearance at the Michael Jackson Tribute Concert this weekend, citing "unavoidable circumstances." Now, Will has been forced to shoot down the rumours via his Twitter. "Why do people listen to rumours... Me and @apl_de created the peas...so...from the creators mouth...We are not breaking up...stop the rumours."

Earlier this year, the group announced that they would taking a break from performing and recording once they had finished their tour, to allow them to concentrate on their individual projects.
