Eminem will perform at this year's Oxegen festival in Dublin, according to the Press Association.

This will be the Detroit rapper's first appearance in Ireland since his sold-out shows to 100,000 fans in Punchestown in 2003.

The rapper recently collaborated with Lil Wayne for the new single 'Drop the World'. The video was released just a weekend before Lil Wayne began his jail sentence and has been taken from the Cash Money Record star's 'Rebirth' album.

Other performers at the Oxegen festival in July  include Jay-Z, The Black Eyed Peas and Muse.
