La La Vazquez has revealed that she felt comfortable playing a lesbian because it is "close to home."
The 31-year-old made her theatre debut this week in new play Love, Loss and What I Wore, which is a series of monologues meaning La La is able to try her hand at playing different roles. "I loved all of them! I get to play so many different roles - from a gang leaders sweetheart, to an engaged lesbian," La La told NecoleBitchie.com.
She added: "I think that role (the lesbian) hit closest to home for me, because some of my closest friends are gay and I see what they deal with when it comes to wanting to get married. And its a cause near and dear to my heart, so I think I appreciate that monologue the most."
La La also revealed that a second season of her reality show La La's Full Court Life is on the cards.
