Continuing to uphold a united front in public, Alicia Keys kept her husband Swizz Beatz in check at the opening of Broadway play The Mountaintop at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in NYC.

The pair calmly posed for pictures and joined Star Jones, Magic Johnson, Gayle King and Tisha Campbell-Martin for the opening night of the show.

Alicia used Twitter to post her love for the play, writing: “Wow! Go see mountaintop on Broadway! It will LIFT u!! Angela Bassett & Sam Jackson are POWERFUL! Tell me how much you love it when u go LOVE.”

Producer Swizz also used the site to post updates about time in the studio with fellow Ruff Ryders rapper DMX posting: “DMX, EVE, LOX, DRAG-ON, SWIZZ = UNCUT HIP HOP is it time for a come back? RR TEAM ?”

He also announced that he will be donating a painting of his to charity writing: “My Painting Young Brazil I'm donating 2 Charity to the Kids Hospital time to leave my art studio:)”
