Within days of TaleTela reporting that DMX will be performing on behalf of his church - the rapper has gone and got himself arrested.

Less than a year after he was released from prison on good behaviour, he's been arrested for violating the terms of his parole.

On Tuesday (March 9), DMX - real name Earl Simmons - admitted that he had been using cocaine during the last nine months, Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio told Reuters.

The rapper was charged with five counts of violation probation and has since then been admitted to Pheonix jail where he is being kept separate from other inmates.

Arpaio told the Arizona Republic: "We would hope that he is finally sent to prison...(for) big time. We've arrested him five times already. How many times do you have to violate the law?"

Good question. I wonder what the Church will do now they have lost their headline act?
