Jay-Z's plan to open over 4,000 casino slots at Aqueduct Race Track is said to be disintegrating.
New York’s Gov. Paterson yesterday (10 March) wrote a letter threatening to stop the deal with AEG to open the slots in Queens.
According to reports, in the letter Paterson’s office stated that he will ‘disqualify’ winning bidder AEG. In response to this, Queens Minister Floyd Flake resigned as partner in the project stating:

I support Aqueduct Entertainment’s vision for the revitalization of my community through the creation of jobs, retail facilities and other opportunities for growth.”
