R&B star, Alicia Keys hosted the Gotham magazine Gala last night and was pictured on the red carpet looking cosy with Swizz Beatz.

The record producer has confirmed that his divorce from singer, Mashonda, is now final. He said: "It was the hardest thing I've ever been through."

It was reported that Keys and Swizz Beatz got engaged in January and they have since been dogged with rumours of an affair while Beatz was still married. He told The Wizards NYC: "The reason why I got my divorce is for real s--t. I didn't get busted cheating, it wasn't none of that. I had to, I got put into a situation where she was making me pick the relationship with my older son over my marriage."

Other guests at last night's events included, Jesse Idol, J Bernard Calloway, Busta Rhymes, Catherine Malandrino, Melanie Fiona, Russell Simmons, Chris Collins, Shontelle, DJ Fadelf and Yong Joc.
