A reporter from the German magazine, Neon, has been fired after it was discovered that he made up facts that featured in an interview with Beyonce.

He wrote that the singer has a pre-nuptial agreement with her husband, Jay-Z, and that she is keeping her desire to have children a secret from the rapper.

After Beyonce fans complained that the interview didn't sound quite right, Neon asked its reporter where he got his facts from and he couldn't reveal his sources. It was therefore decided that the journalist had fabricated the interview and his contract was terminated immediately.

The publication apologised to Beyonce and her management for any inconveniences the fabricated interview may have had. No doubt they released the statement to prevent them from being sued!
