Jay Sean was victorious over Mel B yesterday after the two celebs battled it out in a mixed doubles match which saw the 'Down' singer crowned celebrity champion of the courts.

The former Spice Girl teamed up with Novak Djokovic while Jay Sean was paired with Ana Ivanovic. After intensive play, Jay Sean said: "I couldn't have asked for a better partner than Ana - we gave as good as we got and hit some impressive shots at Mel and Novak."

Mel B's partner, Novak Djokovic commented: "I found it very exciting to play with Mel B and Jay Sean, and I think tennis needs more of these exhibition matches that bring celebrities in our sport."

After the match, Jay Sean - who mispelt his partner's name as 'ivanavich' wrote on Twitter: "Off to the players party at LIV club in miami. Think I have caught sum sort of bug tho. Feel mashup. Gon have to soldier it thru tonite!"
