Vivica A. Fox's former toy boy Omar "Slim" White has confirmed his split from the actress but denies reports that it was due to the age difference.

47-year-old Vivica is 20 years Slim's junior and she has been labelled a "cougar" in the press and criticised for chasing someone much younger than her. However, Slim denies that this is the reason for their split and blamed it on heated arguments. Confirming the news to Too Fab, Slim said: "She's a good woman, it's just one of those situations where in life people outgrow each other."

"I'm highly intelligent, very wise and one thing I hate is negativity and drama, I hate arguing, and I value communication no matter what the problem may be. So as in any relationship, tension can build up and I finally had to walk away."

Shooting down speculation that he may have entered the relationship to further his career, Slim said: "I was only in it for love and it just didn't work out. Even though she was older than me the age difference didn't play a part."

The pair had become engaged late last year after a brief separation.
