Kelis has been ordered to court over a $5,000 hair weave.

The 'Milkshake' singer got the weave done at a upmarket salon in Santa Monica in May 2009 but, according to legal documents Kelis didn't pay.

Yesterday (29 March) the stylist showed up at the trial to confront the singer, but Kelis was a no-show, so the judge entered a judgement for the full amount.

Kelis is pictured here performing her single 'Acapella' at Eve Nightclub - let's hope she didn't fork out a $5,000 for this hairstyle!
