Kimora Lee Simmons is said to have separated from her husband Djimon Hounsou as they are "moving in different directions."

The couple have been together since 2007 following her split from ex-husband Russell Simmons, and they married in 2008. Kimora and her actor husband's relationship was thought to have been strong and they even have an amicable friendship with Russell.

However, sources tell MediaTakeOut that things have not been so rosy behind closed doors and they have reportedly separated. Insiders close to the couple told the website a few weeks ago that there had been "friction" between them and Kimora is also planning a move back to New York.

There were also photos of Kimora out and about without her wedding ring on, fuelling the rumours even more.
