Paris Jackson has taken to Twitter to post her distress after an extreme fan of her late father hacked her account.

The teenager, who then had to start over with a new account posted: "Everyone keeps asking me if Im real. I already answered that..Yes!!My old account got hacked(probably by parisjaxnn)Im trying to get it back."

"I'm just starting fresh!" she added.

Paris bluntly replied to an online follower who tweeted the self-confessed Chris Brown fan in jest about the situation, writing: "I honestly am not in the mood right now."

When a follower suggested that she change her name she answered: "Why would I change my name? That would just cause major confusion..."

Happily she later posted: "Contacted twitter!! :) getting my old account back by hopefully tonight<3333."
