Leona Lewis has confirmed that she will be performing on both X Factor UK and US next month.

The singer - who made her name by winning the talent contest in 2006 - revealed that she will be appearing on the finale of the UK show in December. "I'm going to be on X Factor UK and US. I should be doing the final," she told Digital Spy.

Revealing details of her new EP, Leona added: "I'm really glad to be back because one of the guys I'm working with on the album is here. I'm going to be working with Fraser [T Smith] for a little while. I've just done the EP, so that's all recorded and will be out this year."

It is not known what song Leona will be performing or if she will be singing with a contestant, as is tradition on the show's finale.
