Bow Wow has been explaining the delays behind his Cash money debut album Underrated.
In an open letter to his fans entitled 'What’s The Hold Up' the 24-year-old says that touring and shooting his Ice Cube-produced sitcom have contributed to the delay. He also assures fans that he wanted to make sure his much-anticipated YMCMB debut is his best LP yet.
The 'Boy or Girl' star who released his mixtape Greenlight 4 earlier on this year writes: "Underrated is a classic. This is my best work. It’s taking so long because I’m putting my all into it."
The letter goes on to reveal that the rapper is trying to make a much-desired soul collaboration happen for the new album: "I'm trying to get India Irie to sing on "Boy Or Girl" being that that sample you are hearing on that record is her," he adds.
