Rebecca Ferguson has revealed her plans to crack the States but says her Liverpudlian accent may hinder her chances.
The X Factor runner-up's career is in full swing after taking a year out to record her debut album, Heaven, but she is already thinking of taking her music across the Atlantic. However, she says her accent could scupper her chances. "Maybe they'll get subtitles on my interviews if I go over there," she told The Sun.
Ever the optimist, Rebecca added: "The Beatles did OK though, didn't they? They had to change their accents a bit. I'll work on that."
Rebecca has just released her debut album Heaven, while the lead single 'Nothing's Real But Love' is expected to enter the top 30 this weekend.
