Alicia Keys will feature on next week's episode of American Idol as a guest mentor.

The 'You Don't Know My Name' singer will offer advice to the top seven finalists on 'inspirational songs' for next week's show.

Keys will then return for the 'Idol Gives Back' special on the following night - where another finalist will be eliminated from the singing competition.

Other stars confirmed for the results episode include American Idol winner, Carrie Underwood, The Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Blige and others.
