In light of the wave of controversy that has engulfed Tyra Banks' reality TV show America’s Next Top Model, the show's former judge Janice Dickinson has attacked the model by saying the contest is "rigged."
After one of the final three contestants, Angelea Preston was disqualified from the last show of the 17th ‘All Star’ season for undisclosed reasons, prompting the last scenes to be hastily reshot the show has come under the spotlight.
Former supermodel Dickinson, 56, who left the show after season four, said in an interview on Janice TV at FilmOn.com: “The fact of the matter is [Tyra Banks] makes like $90 million. She makes a lot of money per year still hawking that franchise worldwide, they're doing it in every country, and it's CoverGirl who chooses the winner.”
“CoverGirl are the ones who choose the model, not any of the judges. People don't know that! When I found that out, I split. It's rigged!"
She later added: “F*** you Tyra! Eat a bag of royal skank.”
The model told Us Weekly on Preston’s dismissal added: "Yes, I have a distaste for [Tyra]. In America you say the truth. On TV you can fabricate it but eventually we all find out."
