Mariah Carey and Stevie Wonder will both receive trophys at next year's BET Honors.
The two legends will be celebrated for their contribution to music throughout their careers, with Mariah taking home the 'Best Entertainer' award and Stevie being recognised in the musical arts category.
Mariah was also honoured last weekend by Jermaine Jackson and Eva Longoria for her work with disadvantaged children around the world.
Other outstanding artists to be recognised include Spike Lee for his contribution to film and Maya Angelou.
Winners from last year include: Whitney Houston, P. Diddy and Queen Latifah.
Hosted by actress Gabrielle Union, the awards will take place at the Warner Theatre in Washington DC on January 14, 2012.
