Coolio's son's mother has called the government for assistance in getting the rapper to pay child support.
According to reports, a local child support agency in L.A has filed documents asking a court to get the 'Gangsta's Paradise' rapper to pay $300 a month in child support for their one-year-old son, Christopher Kal El Ivey Bellesis.
The child's mother, Anabella Bellesi, told TMZ that the child support movement is necessary. She said that in order to apply for medical insurance for their son, she must show the state that she's tried all other options.
According to the documents filed, Coolio only earns $1,387 a month.
Coolio's representatives have yet to comment.
