Vivica A. Fox's would-be bridesmaids threw an extravagant break-up party recently to help the actress get over splitting from her ex-toyboy fiance.

The 47-year-old was treated to the lavish celebration of kicking club promoter Slim to the curb before they actually walked down the aisle, and sources say the party was as extravagant as a wedding.

"It was so extravagant, it was almost like a wedding," a source told Star magazine. Photos from the night show Viv's closest friends wore t-shirts with the words: "Viv dodged the bullet" emblazoned on the back.

The source also reveals that Viv got lucky at the end of the night. "A really hot gentleman was waiting in her limo to take her home!" 

There were also a variety of specialised cocktails on offer, including On To The Next and Fawk The Ex mojitos. 

Viv recently said that despite dating younger men in the past, she has no problems with her age and getting older.
