DMX and his wife Tashera have agreed to star in VH1's Couples Therapy to try and work through their marital problems.

The two have been together for 12 years but their relationship was torn apart when Tashera learned X was having several affairs and fathered other children during their marriage.

Now, with X out of prison and willing to turn over a new leaf, the couple have begun filming scenes for the show which will trail them for 21 days as they attempt to mend their broken relationship.

DMX's publicist Domenick Nati said in a statement: "Therapy is always a good thing. Tashera has been there from the beginning and I know that she means a lot to Earl [DMX]."
