Diana Ross will receive a tribute honouring her lengthy music career at the Grammy Awards next year.

The legendary soul singer is to be presented with a lifetime achievement award for her contribution to the recording industry. Astonisingly, the 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough' hitmaker has received numerous Grammy nominations throughout her 50-year-long career, but has never won an award.

Diana made her name as a member of the Supremes before going solo and clocking up 18 number one singles in the US.

Also being celebrated will be Gil Scott-Heron, who sadly passed away in May.

Congrats, Diana!
