Nas has reportedly offered to send money to a kidnapped promoter who is being held in Angola at ransom.
The drama began last weekend when Nas was scheduled to perform a New Year's Eve show in the Southern African country, but failed to show due to "miscommunication" about travel plans. The concert promoter Patrick Allocco was then held at gunpoint by other organisers who demanded the fee that was already paid to Nas and his support act Jemiah Jai.
According to TMZ, Nas is trying to send the money to the promoter so that he can return to the US, but he does say that he "won't shoulder the entirety of the blame." He is apparently unsure of where to send the money but is working on the situation.
