Serena Williams and ex-boyfriend Common shocked fans by having a brief conversation on Twitter, which resulted in Serena starring in the rapper's new music video.

The exchange happened when Com asked fans which song they like from his new album The Dreamer, The Believer, writing: "So which one of the 12 songs are your favorite from my album?"

Surprisingly, Serena gave an answer, writing: "loving I lost RT"@Common: So which one of the 12 songs are your favorite from my album?" to which Common replied: "oh yea? U wanna B N the video?"

The conversation comes just days after Serena had a meltdown on the social networking site, in which she revealed her heartbreak over an unspecified relationship, and revealed that she could not stop thinking about a certain person.

Followers were quick to speculate that the man in question was Drake, whom Serena was rumoured to be dating last year. According to the rumours, Serena was heartbroken to learn that Drizzy was dating model Dollicia Bryan, whom he spent part of the Holidays with.
