Michael Jackson fans have lashed out against Conrad Murray and are suing the former doctor for emotional damage over the singer's death.
Murray has been slapped with a lawsuit from members of the Michael Jackson Community in France, who claim that the man responsible for the popstar's untimely passing caused distress and pain.
Lawyer Emmanuel Ludot - who filed the documents on behalf of 100 fans - told the AFP: "It's similar to losing a childhood friend in a traffic accident. Because this death affects you, you have the possibility to file a suit and seek compensation."
Murray, 54, was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael, who died from an overdose of Propofol in 2009.
The hearing for the lawsuit has been set for April 11 in Orleans, France.
Do these fans have a right to sue or are they just milking the situation?
