Alexandra Burke has weighed in on the controversial murder case of Stephen Lawrence, and says that the sentences handed to his killers were "not long enough."
The 'Broken Heels' singer was as shocked as the rest of the nation to learn that two of the 18-year-old's murderers had been sentenced as children, as they were not adults when the crime was committed.
Giving her opinion, Alex addresses racism in the UK, telling the Daily Star: "It's shocking that racism is still going on in this day and age. The Lawrence family have had some justice; some might say the sentence isn't long enough, however I send them my prayers."
Lethal Bizzle, Adam Deacon and many other celebrities on the UK urban scene paid tribute to Stephen last week when the guilty verdict and sentence was given.
