After a brief hiatus, Nelly appears to be back in the studio doing what he does best, but has brought Dr. Dre along for the ride.

The West Coast legend can be seen posing alongside Nelly inbetween sound boards, in a photo Nelly posted on his Twitter. "WOW in studio wit the legend dairy @drdre n my n**as@shawnholiday@therealbrianp!""LET'S GET IT," he wrote as a caption.

Nelly has not released an album since 2010's 5.0 and it was reported that he owed girlfriend Ashanti money after falling into some financial trouble. 

Meanwhile, Dre is busy recording the elusive Detox album and is gearing up to perform at the Coachella festival in April alongside Snoop Dogg.
