It's that time of year again because the nominees for the 2012 BRIT Awards have been announced, and as you would expect, the biggest names, singles and albums have been pipped to win.

Jessie J managed to scoop three nominations for Best Female, Best British Breakthrough Act and British Single for her hit 'Price Tag.' While Emeli Sande has already won the Critics' Choice award, she will be competing with Jessie in the Breakthrough category.

Meanwhile, Beyonce and Rihanna are vying for the International Female Solo Artist gong, while Nicki Minaj is nominated for International Breakthrough Act. 

Adele has received three nominations including Best Album for 21 and best Single for her monster hit 'Someone Like You.'

Meanwhile, Professor Green is up for British Male Solo Artist.
