Former CSI regular Gary Dourdan was let off with just a $100 fine after crashing into two parked cars while allegedly in possession of prescription drugs.
The 45-year-old actor was arrested last year after smashing his SUV into two parked cars in Los Angeles in the early hours of the morning, and charged with possessing Oxycontin, drug paraphernalia, and disturbing the peace.
Dourdan - who was fired from his role as Warrick Brown in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation after 8 years on the show - plead no contest to one count of disturbing the peace, walking away from court with just an $100 fine this week. According to TMZ, his drug charge was dropped after the actor completed 20 hours of Narcotics Anonymous.
This is Dourdan’s third brush with the law in so many years, having been arrested in April 2008 in Palm Springs, California for possession of cocaine and ecstasy. In November 2011 Dourdan’s ex-girlfriend Nicole Vail Cannizzaro called the police when the two got into a heated argument, which allegedly resulted in Gary punching her in the face and breaking her nose.
