Mariah Carey was clearly wowed by Kelly Rowland's tribute to her at last weekend's BET Honors, as she sent her an abundance of praise on Twitter.
Kelly took on the challenging feat of performing a collection of her most famous hits at the award ceremony in front of several of her peers including Michelle Williams, Will Smith and Gabrielle Union, but it seems she managed to pull it off successfully.
Unleashing a heap of praise on Kelly, Mariah wrote: "@KellyRowland Dear Kelly, thank you so much for the a+++mazing tribute at the BET honors last night."
"@KellyRowland I can't wait for your fans to see how great you were. You've no idea how much I appreciate you. x0x0."
Her kind words and sentiments did not stop there, as she went on to write to several other musicians.
"@Raekwon Much love, respect & thanks to you for coming out at the BET honors. Wu forever. RIP O.D.B. God bless, LYM, Mariah."
To Patti LaBelle, she wrote: "@MsPattiPatti Dear Godmother, I was in tears from the moment you stepped on the stage last night."
"@MsPattiPatti Thank you for being you, an icon for the entire world to treasure. Love forever, MC."
The full ceremony airs on February 13.
