The crazed man who tried to strangle DMX on stage has spoken out, saying that he only wanted to "hug" him. 

The rapper had just begun his set in Long Beach when he flew on stage and wrapped his arms around X's neck, seemingly trying to strangle him. Security guards immediately carried the man off stage, and he has now spoken out to give his side of the story.

"I just wanted to give him a Top Ramen hug," underground skating legend Andy Roy told TMZ. "DMX is sick man! RUFF RUFF RUFF!"

Apparently, Andy felt a connection to X as he had just been released from prison just like the rapper, so wanted to give him a consoling hug.
