Gary Dourdan has been ordered by a judge to stop sending text messages to his ex-girlfriend as it is breaching his restraining order.

The former CSI actor has been banned from going anywhere near his ex-girlfriend Nicole Vail Cannizzaro following his arrest for battery back in November.

However, the actor apparently did not realise that contacting Nicole by phone was also a breach of his the order. According to TMZ, a court heard this week that Gary for texting Nicole on Christmas Eve, but the judge let him off with a warning. 

If Gary tries to contact her again, he will be remanded in custody. He must return to court on Feburary 15 for a hearing.
