The Jackson family are reportedly no longer seeking $100 million from Conrad Murray, as he is essentially broke.
The former doctor was found guilty of the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson last year, and is currently serving four years in prison. Michael's family, headed by his mother Katherine, were seeking restitution as he was found liable for his death.
But according to TMZ, they have decided to drop the case as Conrad is not able to pay the money and the hearing that was orginally scheduled for Monday has been called off.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that a group of obsessed Michael fans in France had planned to sue Conrad for emotional damage as a result of the popstar's death.
Have the family made the right decision in not pursuing the case?
