N-Dubz frontman Dappy has revealed that his new single 'Rock Star' is dedicated to the late Amy Winehouse.
Shortly after Amy passed away in July last year, Dappy spoke of his fondness of the singer and even had a tattoo dedicated to her. Now, he says that his second solo single - which features Queen's Brian May - is in memory of the singer and other famous musicians who passed away at the young age of 27.
"It's all about paying homage to the 27 Club and amazing artists such as Amy Winehouse," he told Daily Star.
"It's a song about people getting to their lowest but it talks about turning a negative into a positive," he added.
Dappy is hoping to replicate the success of his debut solo single, which went straight to number one.
