Zoe Saldana has rushed to the aid of a bloodied woman who had been in a car accident in Culver City, Los Angeles.

The Avatar actress was travelling past in her car, but jumped out to aid the elderly-looking woman who had blood straming from her face. While other passers-by sat around the woman tending to the injured woman, Zoe appeared to be talking to the emergency services on her mobile phone.

Zoe stayed with the woman until the medics arrived, and only got back into her car when she was assured she would be OK.

That's what you call good-hearted!
