The mystery behind one of the strangest tracks of last year, 'Mega Song' - a celebration of filesharing website MegaUpload which featured an all-star ensemble including Kanye West, Diddy, will.i.am and Kim Kardashian - has finally been explained after the new revelation super-producer Swizz Beatz has been installed as CEO of the company.

The track caused waves early in December with eyebrows being raised at the list of high-profile artists coming out in support of the website, which has been identified by the RIAA as one of the biggest threats to music copyright law and a major player in the enabling on music piracy online.

This week, though, the New York Post's Page Six column outed Swizz, real name Kasseem Deen, as head honcho over at MegaUpload HQ, finally putting an explanation behind the celebrity co-signs.

MegaUpload is currently in the process of filing a lawsuit against Universal Music Group, accusing them of blocking distribution of the video which also included cameos from Snoop Dogg, Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx and boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Despite being public enemy number one amongst record industry suits, surely Swizz's ownership of one of the biggest filesharing websites on the net has to go down as one of hip-hop's best business moves ever?
