Rihanna has paid tribute to west coast rapper Tupac with a new tattoo on her fingers that reads "Thug Life."

The 23-year-old has a penchant for tattoos and has approximately 15, but this latest one is perhaps the most interesting. RiRi posted the photo of herself posing showing the camera the back of her fingers with the letters of THUG LIFE written on them in pale pink. 

Alongside the image, RiRi wroteL: "All these b****es screaming that 2pac back ♫ #THUGLIFE." Last year, she drew on the same tattoo using a pen but it seems she has finally taken the plunge. 

Tupac - who died in 1996 - famously had the words written across his stomach. RiRi also wrote: "Tat my f***in name on u girl so I know its real!!! #MINE," making reference to lyrics by Drake.
