Bow Wow has given Drake advice on how to sustain a lengthy career in the music industry, amid the recent controversy that has surrounded the rapper.

Drizzy has become the biggest rapper of the moment since signing to Lil Wayne and Birdman's YMCMB label three years ago, but he has recently been heavily criticised for watering down hip-hop with his emotional lyrics.

Appearing on BET's 106 & Park, Bow was asked what advice he would give Drizzy and replied: "It’s kind of hard to tell Drake anything right now, to be honest. I'd tell him to just keep doing what he’s doing. Continue to make good music."

Bow was then asked about his own life and how he has adjusted to fatherhood after the arrival of his daughter Shai last year. "It’s one of the best things that could have ever happened to me. It’s taught me so much and made me think of everything differently. It’s made me more focused," he said.
