Mary J. Blige was furious that she was snubbed from the Academy Award nominations after they failed to shortlist her for the 'Best Song' category.
The R&B diva lent her vocals to 'Living Proof,' the lead song from The Help soundtrack and she was hotly tipped to be one of the five vocalists nominated. However, the Oscar organisers scaled the catrgory down to two and she was snubbed for The Muppets and Rio.
Shortly after the nominations were announced earlier this week, Mary wrote on Twitter that she was "saddened" her music was not recognised and described the producers as "mean."
But what do you think? Did Mary deserve to be nominated in the category?
