Chelsea Handler has revealed that she almost called 50 Cent the n-word when breaking up with him.

The controversial talk show host has candidly spoken for the first time on her split with Fiddy, revealing that their brief fling ended when he phoned her to say his ex-gilfriend Ciara was still trying to get back together with him, just hours before the singer was due to appear on Chelsea's show.

In the long interview with Howard Stern, Chelsea said that she got so angry with Fiddy during the phonecall, that she called him a gangster and almost used a derogatory term. 

"I think I called him the worst thing you could say to a black person short of calling him the N-word," Chelsea told Stern.

"I said something like you’re like a street person basically. Something along the lines of being a gangster, and it was really, really offensive and I hung up and I’ve never spoken to him again," she explained.
