Cheryl Cole's manager will.i.am says that she will not be returning to The X Factor as she doesn't want to make Simon Cowell rich.
The 'Promise This' singer was humiliated when Simon ousted her from the X Factor USA line-up last year, but reports surfaced earlier this week that she was returning to the show that boosted her career.
However, Cheryl's new manager and best friend will.i.am says that she may be working on her own show, leaving the X Factor behind her.
"Why does she need it?" Will told The Mirror. "Why are you going to make someone-else rich? Cheryl needs her own show.
Will is also confident about Cheryl's music career and says the material for her upcoming third studio album will please fans. "Cheryl's the best. I was just hanging out with her on Tuesday, listening to her new stuff and getting her feedback on things and she has some really great tunes."
"The Cheryl that we know now is different from the one we’re going to know 10 years from now," he added.
