The Help's Octavia Spencer has revealed that she is not happy with her current size but will find shedding the pounds hard as it makes her "grumpy."

The actress - who picked up a Screen Actor's Guild award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture yesterday - says that she is fully aware that she is not healthy.

"I am not healthy at this weight," she told People magazine backstage at the award ceremony. 

"Any time you have too much around the middle, then there is a problem. [And] when you reach a certain weight, you are less valuable. I feel for the overly thin women as much as I do for the overweight women. It ... has to change."

Octavia also had a message for the "thin" women, saying: "If more women ate, they would be a lot happier. Let me tell you, I am a lot grumpier when I don't eat."
