Halle Berry arrived at her court date yesterday reportedly "flashing" her supposed engagement ring given to her by boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

When the Oscar award-winning actress was spotted around town wearing a green-stoned gold ring, Olivier alleged to have asked Halle to marry him over the Christmas holiday. Despite reports that the couple were planning on settling down and even having children, sources close to the couple denied Olivier had proposed.

According to E! Online, Halle attended the L.A. court to have a 90-minute session with Judge Mark Juhas, who told them both that they must attend counselling sessions to help cope with the difficult parenting situation.

As previously reported, Gabriel agreed to attend anger management classes following allegations that he shoved daughter Nahla's nanny into a door while holding her.

A decision is yet to be heard on Gabriel's contact with Nahla during the investigation into the violence claims.
