Amber Rose has revealed that the large tattoo on the left side of her face is not real.

The 28-year-old model made an appearance at a club with boyfriend Wiz Khalifa over the weekend, sporting a tribal tattoo above her left eye similar to that of Mike Tyson.

Although known for doing things outside of the box, Amber shocked fans by the bold move and was inundated with Twitter messages asking if it's real.

Finally addressing the speculation, Amber wrote: "Ms Dottie (my crazy west african mom) would slap the Cape Verdean outta my ass if I got a tat like that on my face I was just having fun."
