Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am has called in a laundry-list of industry favours for his new album #willpower, revealing his fourth solo LP will feature appearances to rival Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger's cameo on lead single 'T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever).'
Busta Rhymes, Shakira, Alicia Keys and husband Swizz Beatz, Nicole Scherzinger and Britney Spears have all signed up for the multiplatinum rapper/producer's latest project.
36-year-old Will gave away some teasing details about the album in a recent interview with Capital FM. "I have a song with Alicia Keys - me, Alicia, and Swedish House Mafia. I have a song with The Beats, which is pretty grand. Me and Shakira have been trying to finish the stuff we started, and me and Britney is really crazy."
There's even room on the album for a classical music-influenced record, cut as part of a collaboration with Nicole Scherzinger, praising her vocal talent. "I made this song with Nicole Scherzinger that you would never expect," he explained.
"This classic piece of music that I did with Nicole, it’s beautiful. That girl sings like I’ve never heard anybody sing like that in pop culture."
#willpower is due for release April 29 in the UK and hits US stores a day later.
