The last time we heard from Dre, he had delayed his Detox album yet again, claiming he needed a break from music. And while Rick Ross is in a similar situation, having also pushed back his album God Forgives, I Don’t, he cites Dr. Dre as his biggest inspiration in the rap community.
Speaking about a meeting between the two to MTV News, Ross said: “It was amazing, my brother. We had the opportunity to just first and foremost touch base like bosses. We went out, we had dinner, we just discussed ideas and that led to the studio.”
“The advice he gave me, it’s already affected the way I’ve been in the studio for the last week .So let’s just say he’s full of knowledge and he’s a solid guy. Most definitely that’s maybe my biggest hip-hop influence in the game.”
Rozay posted a photo of the two enjoying a studio session, fuelling speculation that Dre will feature on The Bawse's forthcoming album, or that he will feature on Dre's Detox album.
Do you think a collaboration between the two could be in the works?
