Labrinth has denied that he turned down working with Nicki Minaj and Beyonce, explaining that he wanted to focus on perfecting his debut album.

The 22-year-old has quickly become one of the hottest producers in the UK, so it is no surprise that some of the world's biggest artists want to work with him. Last year, Lab revealed that he had been contacted by Beyonce and Nicki's teams to talk collaborations, but he explains to TaleTela that it wasn't the right time.

"I love it when people say that. I didn't turn down the chance - when you have work to do and when you're busy building your own career, I think it's healthy to take the time out for yourself,"he told us.
